Though the pair were close as cameras began rolling, over the course of the season, fans learned that there had been off-camera drama between them. She confirmed Demi, 30, had done things that were "unforgivable." "I'll never be friends with her again," Jessi said. "And I'm a pretty forgiving person. So it's a lot for me to say that." "The last thing that she did is something that's so d---ing I just can't turn a blind eye to it," Layla said. She said that when she confronted Demi about it, Demi used "name-calling" and Layla saw "her true colors." As for what the final straw was, the castmates kept things vague, calling the fallout on the show "a slow burn." In episode 6 of season 2, Jessi explains that she and Demi had "a falling out" that "rocked" their friendship. She described it as a "little disagreement about money." Mayci Neeley said that Demi wanted Jessi off the show so she could make more. Jessi decided to stay. Castmate Taylor Frankie Paul claimed Demi called the other MomTok member and was "talking mad s---" about Jessi and her plans to "push her to the side."
