Beyond the Gateshas cast its second member of its fictional music group The Articulates withThe Color PurplestarMaria Howelljoining the soap as Tracy. On screen The Articulates was a three-member girl group that was fronted by Anita Dupree (Tamara Tunie), with Tracy (Howell), and Sharon (Currently unknown). Viewers recently found out that there was an opportunity and interest in an Articulates reunion, but while Tracy answered the phone and appeared to be interested in potentially rebuilding their friendship, Sharon immediately hung up the phone. Viewers can look forward to seeing Howell's performance beginning the week of May 19th. Beyond the Gateshas a cast of over thirty contracted actors. The soap is anchored by the Dupree family, starringClifton Davis(Vernon Dupree),Tamara Tunie(Anita Dupree),Karla Mosley(Dani Dupree), andDaphnée Duplaix(Nicole Richardson), and their respective families.
