Who else remembers PEOPLE's Hottest Bachelors franchise? For years we would toast the dawn of summer with a sexy cover showcasing the hunkiest single guys of the moment and epic shirtless photos of stars likeZac Efron,Joe ManganielloandMatthew McConaughey. I think we could all use a little fun and escapism, so this year we're rebooting and modernizing our summer celebration of male sexiness. Introducing... Hot Guy Summer! We're featuring the guy with the hottest song (catch cover starShaboozey, fresh offStagecoach, headlining CMA Fest June 6), the stars with the hottest abs (there's a lot of them!) and, yes, the hottest bachelors. (This year there's a bumper crop of sexy single guys on Bravo!) "I was shocked by how tall the Bravo guys are in real life—usually celebs are tiny!" saysAndrea Lavinthal, executive director of special integrated projects, who oversaw the shoot. "They were all pretty adorable and easy to work with. I thought it was cute how they were hyping each other up during the shoot. A few of them went out for drinks together after the shoot. It's like a fraternity!" The shoot generated a ton of buzz among reality aficionados. "The Bravo-verse was so curious what kind of 'insane Bravo crossover' was going on." And on the West Coast, our country-star cover guy charmed on the L.A. set. Shaboozey "has the distinct aura of a star but not in a show-off way," says senior writerRachel DeSantis. "When I complimented his authentic cowboy boots and told him I'd just bought a pair of my own, he asked where from—and, God bless him, didn't bat an eye when I sheepishly answered 'Amazon.' We love a nonjudgmental star!" I hope you enjoy this new fun and lighthearted summer franchise.
