The early window offered plenty of excitement, with two games going into overtime, including Tennessee Titans vs. Cincinnati Bengals and Arizona Cardinals vs. Dallas Cowboys. The Titans clung to life as safety Amani Hooker intercepted Joe Burrow three times and running back Tony Pollard continued to shine, but Burrow's five touchdowns (including two to Tee Higgins).

The Cardinals had an opportunity to win it in regulation, but a missed extra point attempt from kicker Chad Ryland sent it into OT. He made up for it with a 42-yard field goal to seal the win, 33-30.

The Detroit Lions handed the Minnesota Vikings their first loss of the season , but it came at a price, as All-Pro linebacker Jack Campbell was carted off and taken to the hospital with a neck injury .

The Baltimore Ravens also got some tough injury news, as quarterback Lamar Jackson suffered a thumb injury in his throwing hand on his first pass attempt of the game as he returned from an ankle injury. He was ruled out and, per head coach Jesse Minter, will be placed on injured reserve as he undergoes surgery.

Drake Maye was feeling himself after executing a perfect fake pitch at the goal line.

He had to dodge his own lineman in order to get into the end zone, but his score helped put the Patriots ahead for the first time in the game.

Patrick Mahomes drove the field and got into the red zone. Once again the Chiefs proved that there are just too many playmakers to cover on their offense.

Mahomes found Noah Gray for the four-yard score.

Kansas City now leads 24-13 with 1:38 let in the third quarter.

The Chargers went for it on fourth and 8 despite being on the Rams' 24-yard line. Trailing 24-9, three points doesn't really help them.

Justin Herbert found tight end Oronde Gadsden for a gain of seven. He was initially ruled to have gotten the first down from a generous spot, but replay assist overturned it and confirmed that he was short.

The Rams take over leading 24-9 with 6:39 left.

Denver's offense may not have left the locker room from halftime yet.

The Broncos ran three plays for a total of eight yards. Denver was deep in its own territory so Sean Payton elected to punt the ball away.

The Rams have opened up the fourth quarter with a punt. They ran five plays and picked up 20 yards, but weren't able to extend the drive.

The Rams still lead 24-9 with 12:13 left in the game.

Aaron Donald tried to get after a loose ball, but before he could scoop it, it went out of bounds.

The camera caught Myles Garrett riding the exercise bike and laughing at Donald's play.

Kansas City's first drive of the second half goes in a similar fashion to Denver's. It ended in a punt, but the Chiefs did run five plays and pick up 20 total yards before punting.

Ravens backup quarterback Tyler Huntley is dealing with turf toe, per ESPN's Adam Schefter . Huntley is expected to undergo further evaluation tomorrow to determine if he will need to miss any time.

As a reminder, Baltimore plays on Thursday against Jacksonville and Lamar Jackson is being added to IR and needs thumb surgery.

Outside of a five-yard false start penalty, it was a three-and-out for Denver which was unable to get a first down.

Kansas City will now get its first possession of the second half.

After picking off Justin Herbert for the second time in the game, the Rams picked up four yards on a first down run by Kyren Williams.

Then, Stafford threw a screen to Puka Nacua and he cut through the defense to weave his way into the end zone.

After the PAT, the Rams lead 24-9 with 3:41 left in the third quarter.

Justin Herbert was under pressure, but threw his 10th interception of the season, leading the NFL.

It was his second INT of the game, and this one looks bad on replay as it looks like Herbert didn't even see the defender and threw it right to him.

Kansas City got down the field thanks in large part to another huge gain by rookie running back Emmett Johnson. This time he had a 38-yard reception to get the Chiefs in field goal range.

After the drive stalled, Harrison Butker hit a 45-yard field goal to put KC up 17-13 with less than 30 seconds to go in the first half.

The Chargers' first drive of the second half began with a false start. This was ominous and the Chargers then lost four yards on first down, got it back with a four yard rush on second down and then Justin Herbert had a 10-yard completion on third down when the team needed 15.

It looked like the Chiefs defense had stuffed the Broncos' offense at the goal line.

Bo Nix then went with play action and rolled out right. He hit Jaylen Waddle for the score.

Notably on the drive, Courtland Sutton picked up an injury and is in the medical tent.

Denver trails 14-13 with 1:15 left in the first half.

The Rams have an interesting rushing situation on their hands. Blake Corum has gotten more carries, and he has been productive with them.

The Rams' first drive of the second half ends with Corum breaking off a 23-yard run for the score.

This marks back-to-back weeks that both Kyren Williams and Corum found the end zone.

After the extra point, the Rams lead 17-6.

Miami also seems to play New England well when the Dolphins are at home. Despite being 1-5, Miami heads into halftime holding a 13-3 lead over its division rival.

The Chiefs quarterback was about to get destroyed by a defender, but he barely got the pass off.

It floats to Emmett Johnson, who then uses his speed to get down the field. He had one defender to beat and actually stumbled, but it threw off the defender and helped Johnson get in the end zone for the score.

Justin Herbert aired the ball out right before half time. Quentin Johnston hit the ball and it ended up in the hands of Ladd McConkey.

The Rams defenders kept him out of the end zone though, so it just goes down as a 54-yard completion as the game has gone to halftime.

The drive started with Puka Nacua having a nine-yard reception. Tutu Atwell then showed off the wheels and picked up 40.

Matthew Stafford hit Kyren Williams for three yards and then Nacua got down to the 1-yard line with a 13-yard gain. Williams punched it in for the score.

The Rams lead 10-9 with 19 seconds to go before halftime.

It looked like Kansas City's offense figured out a cheat code against Denver's defense on its second drive of the game. The Chiefs went all the way down the field, and it ended in a Rashee Rice touchdown.

Since then, Kansas City has run six offensive plays, gained eight yards and punted twice.

Still, the Chiefs lead 7-6 with 13:46 left in the first half.
