It was announced by the team that the 24-year-old out of Washington D.C. will return to the seat of the No. 88 JR Motorsports Chevrolet full-time next year.

Caruth is completing a full-time slate in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series this season. However, not all of his starts came with JR Motorsports. In an effort to complete the full 2026 schedule, Caruth has jumped between the No. 88 JR Motorsports car and the No. 32 Chevrolet for Jordan Anderson Racing.

Caruth made the Chase this season and ranks 12th in the standings, last among the Chase contenders, with one race to go in the season.

Prior to Tuesday's announcement, Caruth's future in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series was up in the air. However, JR Motorsports put any speculation to bed by posting a hype video on social media, promoting Caruth's return to the organization in 2027.

"[Kelley Earnhardt] couldn't contain her excitement – and neither can we. [Rajah Caruth] is returning to JR Motorsports full-time in 2027, driving the No. 88 Chevrolet," via JR Motorsports on X.

Caruth is back with JR Motorsports next year and, according to reports, will not have the burden of finding an alternative ride to complete the full season. Motorsports insider Bob Pockrass took to social media to clarify that Caruth will pilot the No. 88 Chevrolet the entire season.

"For those who were concerned about Caruth staying at JRM — he will be back and in the No. 88 full time," Pockrass wrote via X .

Rajah Caruth burst onto the NASCAR scene full-time in 2023 in the Craftsman Truck Series, as well as part-time in the O'Reilly Auto Parts Series. Wheeling the No. 24 Chevrolet for GMS Racing in the Truck Series, Caruth posted four top 10s in his rookie season.

In 2024, Caruth joined Spire Motorsports to pilot the No. 71 Chevrolet. Caruth earned his first career Craftsman Truck Series victory at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway that year.

One year later, Caruth notched his second career Truck Series win at Nashville Superspeedway. His best points finish in the series was sixth in 2025.

The 2026 season is Caruth's first full-time campaign in the series. Caruth has earned two pole positions this season, coming at Watkins Glen and Daytona. After 32 starts in 2026, Caruth has totaled two top-five finishes and nine top 10s.
